We arrived safe and sound in Rome about 9:30 Friday morning and immediately headed by bus to a lovely winery in Montepulciano. Luckily they took us to the top in smaller cars. The climb would have killed us.
After wine tasting with meats, cheese and bread, we headed to our hotel to meet the other 42 people in our group. They all went to Venice a few days before. We're staying for three days in the ancient castle owned by the Medicis. Very cool place. Tomorrow we head to Florence.
